"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

~ Proverbs 22:6

We use sound biblical principles to teach today's youth how to deal with problems and situations they encounter on a daily basis.  Youth are instructed and encouraged to use basic spiritual fundamentals that will help them to develop a strong moral character.  Lessons are conducted that allow the youth to participate in discussions that cultivate their spiritual lives.  We stress the importance of being obedient to God, parents, teachers, and other people of authority in a child's life.  Our desire is to teach, train, and prepare them to handle spiritual, physical, and intellectual conditions they will face in life.

  • Boy's Support Group - It's purpose is to establish love, unity, and support among each other.  We try to reach out to our young boys ages 12 to18 and bring them to a knowledge of togetherness.  They are taught responsibility for oneself and his fellow member.  The activities include exercise, sports, field trips, tutorial sessions.
  • Click image to view gallery Girls Support Group - This group provides spiritual, intellectual, and social guidance to young girls ages 12 to18.  We nurture their growth that will increase and strengthen the their knowledge of God.  We teach strong Christian values such as purity, spiritual cleanliness, and discipline to assist the girls as they mature into womanhood. Social activities are planned to promote interaction within the group and outside in the Richmond community.  Some of the activities include cooking, crafting, crocheting, etc.  Girls are encouraged to participate in intellectual group discussions that surround the many pressures of everyday life.
  • Kid's Korner - is an incentive program that teaches children how to save and spend money.  It is a store with toys, paper, crayons, books, candy, etc., which the children purchase with play money.  The children earn play money by participating in Sunday School, Children's Church, Youth Choir, and tutoring programs.  They also earn play money for good behavior, attendance and academic achievement.  The youth workers and teachers distribute the money to the children.  It is the responsibility of the child to save his/her money to shop in the store, which is once a month after morning worship.

"And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man.  Therefore, shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife: and they two shall be one flesh."

~Genesis 2:23, 24

We believe that no two marriages are the same, however, all marriages have things in common.  The couples meet for enrichment and fellowship, sharing the joys and trials of marriage.  Much strength is gained from the testimonies of others.  We teach how to include God in your marriage and how to maintain healthy, loving relationships using Christian principles.

The purpose of the United Christian Women's Ministry is to do the work of the Lord:  to exalt Him in a spirit of oneness by providing Christian ministries, outreach, and wholesome activities; and to encourage and train future generations in the ways of the Lord.  This group, through faith and prayer, will uplift the name of Jesus, cultivate accountable relationships, work to train, educate, build, and evangelize, mentor new converts, youth and children.

United by the Holy Spirit with a commitment to Christ, love for the sisters of faith, and for the lost, as a member of the United Christian Women's Ministries of the Church of Christ (Holiness) U.S.A. I pledge to be obedient to the Word of God.  I will walk worthy of the vocation wherewith I am called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing others in love.  With prayer and strength of mind, body and soul, I affirm my support to families, Christian education and missions.  This pledge I will keep, not just for the times we meet; but His will to constantly pursue that I may please the Lord in everything I do.

".... I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness."

~ Psalms 84:10

Mission Statement

WE ARE USHERS of spiritual fruit, standing against evil is our dispute,

Treading the isle that seems to get longer, moving ahead each Sunday we get stronger,

And if by chance some think we can't make it, well, we depend on the word of God and we won't forsake it,

Pressing on and never looking back, always aware of the devils attack,

Although the struggle is hard, we dare not doubt, we may sometimes de be down, but we aren't out,

We are the Future Church Ushers anointed for war and we are well aware of who we're standing for,

We have the strength of a lion and the gentleness of a lamb,

We are servants of the most High God, the Great I Am!
